Not My Styling
A week or so ago I was shooting some blog posts with Dean and decided I had had enough of deciding what to wear so passed the task over to Dean to pick out a look. Talk about being lazy on my behalf, the only bit of work I have really done for this blog post is writing it right now.
Overall I think the product of Dean's styling has been very similar to the outfits I share and wear relatively often - some straight leg jeans (these Levi's are one of the first pairs of straight leg jeans I ever bought, and and I still love them), my Celine loafers which literally everyone I meet loves. I don't think I have another pair of shoes that have been complimented as many times as these ones have. Plain white t-shirt which isn't quite plain white. We have shot a lot of jeans and a t-shirt looks because it does always look effortlessly good, but this time I went for a new t-shirt I have from LNA, which has a little bit of something extra going on in the form of the girl on the breast pocket.
We doubled up on jackets as it was cold on this day, and Dean was specific about wanting something shorter in length (someone finally making me step away from the longline blazer, even if it's only momentarily), so this leather jacket was the winner. I was gifted this back in September and really haven't worn it enough since. But, as I said, it's been Baltic so a coat needed to get involved too. This & Other Stories wool coat always brings the androgynous factor back into any outfit, and is oversized enough to pop on over another jacket (essential at the moment, did I mention it was cold?) - some sunnies and gold jewellery to finish it all off and we were good to go. Something I would 100% have picked out myself. Will make sure to make Dean do this again when I don't feel like doing any of my own work myself!
