Ideal Everyday

This post is sponsored by GANT.

Here we go with another big'un, with three looks here. You all may remember last year when I collaborated with GANT to share their white shirts and how to style it. It was one of the best collaborations I got to work on last year, so I was very excited when they got in touch again! I love their products; they're all classic and minimal, any really easy to work into your current wardrobe. So today I am going to share three looks featuring pieces from their new collection. The first piece is this tie front shirt which is incredible and so flattering. It's a lovely crinkly fabric which is a god send for an ironing-phobe like me. The tie at the front is such a refreshing way to wear a shirt. You all know I love a tucked in shirt, or any sort of top, but this brings in an effortless vibe as it manages to be loose fitting and tailored at the same time. The dipped hem down the back means you don't have any awkward bunching and gathering like you get if you were to tie the front of any old shirt.

I teamed them with GANT's straight leg jeans which are incredible. When we last collaborated there were no pairs of jeans that I felt were really 'me' available at GANT, but they have really really upped their game this season. These straight leg jeans are an amazing fit. The perfect mid rise (always the most flattering), they sit nice and tight over the thigh and just a little off the calf for the rest of the leg length. They are quite long which is perfect for me, but if you are a little shorter just go for one big turn up - that way the leg will still fit straight.

As we established last year, GANT do a damn good Oxford shirt. They just have a certain stiffness to the cotton that makes it fit in a really flattering way. No pulling over the boobs, no floppy collars, just a good simple structured shirt that looks smart no matter what. I chose a polka dot one this time around, and again wore the straight leg jeans. You can see a little better in the above photo just how well they fit over the waist and hips. A polka dot shirt would be such a lovely way to update your workwear looks if you are already a big fan of a white button down, but for me I will be teaming mine with lots of denim and keeping it jacket-less wherever possible!

ANNNDDD the final look! I think I am saving the best until last here, because I LOVE THIS BLAZER!!! It's a linen, wide check, beige toned piece of goodness. I AM OBSESSED! It feels like a really traditional piece which makes it so much fun to style up. Draped over the shoulder (something I love if I am going out for dinner, but isn't practical when you're rushing around), or worn like it should be but with some scruffy turn ups in the sleeves, it's fun to make such a traditional piece feel more modern. The giant jumper I have on underneath is also GANT, and is extra comfy and making me a little sad that we are leaving jumper season which isn't something I thought I would be saying. The combination made this a very 'me' outfit, and while I know you have seen this look many times before, I always welcome pieces that help me update it a little bit.
