Weekend In London

Oh hey Tuesday, forever my least favourite day of the week. At least things are looking up a little bit, as today I am going to share with you guys what I got up to over the weekend - and it was a good'un!

On Saturday morning I headed down to the big smoke for a blogging weekend with the ever amazing Lindsey from Ropes of Holland. We shot a couple of outfits together and I can't wait to show you guys them both - and we did the usual stuff you have to do on a girly weekend; laugh, chat, eat and drink. Oh and sleep... and it was a bloody good sleep to..

The good sleep can be attributed to the fact I stayed in the comfiest bed EVER at the Citizen M hotel, London Bankside. Not only was the bed amazing, but the whole hotel was a treat! The staff were incredible, the room seriously swanky and high tech. And the breakfast looked so good it convinced me to give up on my plans of healthy eating in about 2 seconds flat.

They also sneaked into our room to leave me the cutest cat surprise ever that put the biggest smile on my face.. you can see what I am talking about by clicking here.

The Citizen M is bang slap in the middle of SO many amazing things - and was an area of London I had never really visited before. About 5-10 minutes walk you're at London Bridge, less than five to Tate Modern... and about two minutes to Borough Market which we had an explore of and accidentally on purpose ate a cheese board. Healthy eating going very well.

The winning meal of the weekend goes to Granger & Co, where we went for dinner - and oh what a delicious dinner it was. I had duck, and I honestly don't want to talk about it too much as thinking about it makes me wish I could eat it all again right now. But believe me, it was delish, and also a gorgeous place to eat too!

Obviously I had to throw an outfit in here too! This is what I wore on Sunday where I made the most of the hotel's amazing location and nipped to Tate Modern. I did dress a little optimistically - I often do in London as there are times it can feel quite tropical in comparison to the North!
