Thoughts On Moving

Did you guys know I had moved?? 'Cos I feel like I might not have mentioned it enough?? (Pffftt, only like a million bajillion times). But, if you couldn't tell, it's kinda a big deal for me. I have lived in and around Leeds my whole life, and while Manchester isn't far away, the fact it isn't Leeds makes it all so different to me. I am a homebody through and through. I am happiest at home with my Mum and cats, and I don't think that will ever change. But that doesn't mean I'm not happy being elsewhere, because I am so excited about being in Manchester and it's making me so so damn happy too (if not a little stressed and frazzled too, as life without wifi prevails!!)

I made the decision to go to University at Leeds so I would be near home. It was an excellent Uni to study History of Art at too, so it was a bit of a win win. I even lived at home for my first year at Uni, making the decision that the lifestyle of living in halls wouldn't be one I found fulfilling or made me happy. At the time I was worried that I might regret this decision later, but I never ever have (I don't think I ever will). For my third and second year I moved away from home to a little house just outside of the city centre, but still spent time at home whenever I could.

Being someone who resists change in every way, moving away from Leeds feels like a bigger deal that moving in with Harry. That decision didn't even feel like a decision at all, it was just the right thing to do for us both, and I am so excited to be sharing these new chapters of our lives together. I will always look forward to coming home. As I write this I am at home, and will be back next weekend, and I am looking forward to being home for a few weeks for Christmas, but for the first time ever I am also excited to leave home too, to go back to somewhere that also feels like home. And that's something that is totally new for me.

COAT: COS (last season, similar here and here)
BOOTS: ALL SAINTS (last season, similar options here and here, or try these ones for a treat!)

I am hoping to upload a video about this too but I am having some technical difficulties and have generally been the worst blogger ever this past week. If I manage to sort it, I will add it to this post - so please check back!
